situated 16km from south of Kuwait
City. There are seven airports
in the country, of which four have
covered runways.
Kuwait International Airport
serves as the principal
hub for international air travel.
State-owned Kuwait Airways
is the biggest airline
in the country.
In 2001, Kuwait International
Airport airlines carried
2,084,600 passengers on domestic
and international flights.In 2004,
the first private airline of Kuwait,
Jazeera Airways, was launched.
In 2005, the second private airline
Wataniya Airways of Kuwait
