region capable for landing commercial flights.
Facilities have been upgraded at the airport
and talks are in full swing to start the
daily commercial flights to Pantnagar
from Delhi and other major cities of India.
Pant Nagar Airport
is situated in Uttaranchal. Pantnagar
is a mix of university town and industrial
area, hosting the first agricultural
university of India as
well as the first Integrated Industrial
Estate in the Kumaon region.
At the moment there is an Aviation
School currently training
pilots. |
